Affiliate Members
The Board of Directors of the Consortium for Adequate School Funding in Georgia hereby establishes three categories of affiliated membership, as listed below, for persons and organizations which cannot become a regular member of the Consortium but want to express their support for adequate funding of Georgia's schools by making a financial contribution to the Consortium or providing in-kind services of equivalent value.
- Associate Member: $50,000 per year
- Affiliate Member: $1 per FTE student up to a maximum of $50,000 per year
- Supporter: $10,000 per year
In addition, a local board of education which wants to support our efforts without becoming a regular member of the Consortium or a party to any litigation could also become an affiliate in any one of these categories by paying the indicated amount annually or whatever its annual assessment would be if it became a regular member.
None of these persons or organizations will have the right to vote on any matter coming before the General Membership or the Board of Directors or to serve as an officer of the Consortium or as a member of the Consortium’s Board of Directors, but they will be allowed to attend meetings and will be kept informed of the Consortium’s activities.
Any such contribution will not be publicized without the consent of the entity making the contribution, but will be reported as required by applicable laws.
